Cathy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and making patchwork quilts and pillows. She enjoyed reading and cooking for her family. She enjoyed helping her husband remodel their home, traveling by car or ‘sightsee’ all over the United States and even within the state of Maine, NASCAR racing, and watching family, adventure, and western movies.

Cathy was predeceased by her father and grandparents. She is survived by her mother and two brothers, Gilbert R. Hatch and his wife Kelly Hatch; and Steven F. Harding, all of Waldo; her husband, Lewis Henry Brown Jr. of Brooks, her two daughters: Christina Eve (Brown, Maddocks) Coulsey and her husband James R.
