I only can say positive things about Richard. He was always wearing a smile and making people laugh. He loved to see other people enjoy life and he especially loved seeing people do well spiritually. This motivated him to tell others about our great God, Jehovah. It brought me great joy to see Richard progress spiritually and dedicate his life to Jehovah, offering to live his life to coincide with Jehovah's will as stated in the bible. I remember fondly the many nights at the Irving's home for the bookstudy we shared. Many times Richard would say something clever that would bring a good laugh. Richard was always a great brother and friend and I am confident that Jehovah remembers him dearly as a faithful, loyal servant. Maybe we can have a special meal prepared for you for a switch (Richard loved to prepare all sorts of food for everyone, good stuff!) when we welcome you back in the resurrection. Not only was Richard a great cook, but he was the Guy Fieri of southern New England. He could find the most amazing food at the most obscure places that no one would ever find on their own. Many times a morning in the ministry would turn into lunch at a humble, small restaurant with the best of whatever food was the topic of conversation in the car group that morning. I know that Jehovah too looks forward to the day when a loud voice calls you to wake up and live once again. If I could say something to you now it would be that I am so proud of how you lived your life for Jehovah and that I speak for myself as well as the many countless lives you affected along the way: We love you, we will miss you, but can't wait to see you again in paradise. Richard is safe in God's memory but my thoughts and prayers are for those living that await to see him again. Love you buddy and see you someday soon.

We were so sad to hear of the loss of a truly AWESOME brother! Rich was an incredible person in and out. He always was upbeat yet laid back - one of those people that everyone just fell in love with. We have GREAT memories of spending time with Rich and Kim in St. Maarten 10 years ago, and still look at the pictures and watch the videos and laugh at the silly things we did and said. Rich will be missed by all who knew him and whose lives were touched by him. We are confident that Jehovah will resurrect him and look forward to seeing him again with his mischievous smile on his face. Kim, we love you very much and keep you in our prayers. We are so glad you and Rich came into our lives!

Rich was one of the most genuine people I've known - the 'true companion' and 'brother' of Prov. 17:17. I'm fortunate to have many great memories and stories, but however many, it's sadly too few. My heart goes out to Kim and I hope she can find comfort.
